*Participate in all classroom activities
*Complete homework on time
*Keep notebooks organized
Overview of Occupational English III Curriculum:
Goal 1: Understand literary and informational texts.
Goal 2: Use appropriate communication skills inemployment, post-secondary education/training and
independent living settings.
Goal 3: Create written products using a template or form.
Goal 4: Apply reading and comprehension strategies to informational texts found in employment, post-
secondary education/training and independent living domains.
Goal 5: Carry out a problem-solving process as it relates to personal life situations.
Goal 6: Apply knowledge of cause and effect relationships to decision-making and problem solving.
Goal 7: Summarize the importance of forming a viewpoint in situations related to adult living.
Goal 8: Critique informational products for use inemployment, post-secondary education/training, and
independent living domains.
