Join CBA World View in 2013 for a 13 Day Tour.  This year we will "cross the pond" to take in the sights of Ireland and Britain.  This is a tour not to be missed.

Dates of tour are March 27, 2013 through April 8, 2013.

Our trip starts off in the Emerald Isle (the real one, not the NC Coast).  Ireland got its nickname because of year-round rainfall and a temperate climate keep the countryside a bright, vivid green.  Our time in Ireland will include a trip to the countryside as travel the Ring of Kerry along the Atlantic coastline.

As we make our way through Ireland we will stop at several interesting locations.  We will visit a Bog Village to see how people traditionally lived.  We'll see Irish landmarks like the Rock of Cashel (left) and Blarney Castle.  You can't travel to Ireland without taking time to kiss the Blarney Stone (if you're brave enough).  We'll also spend time in Dublin, the largest and capital city of Ireland.  Dublin has been home to some literary giants, including James Joyce, Yeats, Jonathon Swift and George Bernard Shaw.

After spending several days in Ireland, we will board a ferry boat to take us across the Irish Sea to Britain.  We will port in the county of Angelsey, Wales.  This region of Wales has received more attention than normal recently because a young, newly married couple chose to set up their first home in Angelsey while the husband is in the Royal Air Force.   You may have heard of them.... their names are William and Kate.  From there we will ride into the English countryside visiting the Lake District.  We will stop at the home of famed poet William Wordsworth.
Then it's off to the land of the Scots.  We will spend several nights in Edinburgh, the Scottish capital.  While in Scotland, we will tour Edinburgh Castle and Stirling Castle, and visit Loch Katrine and the William Wallace (think of the movie Braveheart) Monument.  We will also get a little free time in city, plus a ghost walk!
After Scotland, we get on the night train to London!  London... Big Ben, Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Harrod's, the London Eye, the original Hard Rock Cafe, I could go on...  There is so much London has to offer.  London is the perfect place to end a great trip that you will definitely want to be part of.
